Bangkok Design Festival (2008)

This experimental animation emphasised further degeneration from the message of the previous exhibition, hence the "Degeneration" tag in this take, 'deteriorating' digital assets used to convey social themes in the previous exhibition.

Visual abstractions were created using generative processing techniques sampling the illustrations from the exhibition. Images generated were then animated and arranged in After Effects.

Other credits goes to: Illustrations by Little Ong and Joanne Tay. Generative image processing and sound design by Jon-erik Andreassen.

Jon-erik designed the audio in the idea of fifths, using a 5/4 time signature to complement the motion in 25fps.
